Conformance Status
Conformance Status: Partially Conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Basis Cost Segregation, LLC is committed to making its website and application accessible to people with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and applicable state accessibility requirements.
The Basis website and application partially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some content or features may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. We are actively working to identify and address those gaps.
Our accessibility effort includes the website, estimate flow, account experience, report information, and related digital materials. Our goal remains alignment with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as accessibility improvements are reviewed and implemented over time.
Formal audit note: A third-party WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility audit is scheduled to be completed within 90 days of this statement's effective date. This statement will be updated to reflect audit findings and any conformance changes upon completion.
Current Accessibility Efforts
Basis designs and reviews its digital experience with the following accessibility considerations:
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators throughout the application and estimate flow.
- Clear heading structure, form labels, and logical page organization to support screen reader navigation.
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interface elements.
- Descriptive link and button text that communicates purpose without relying on surrounding context.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and non-text content.
- Accessible form fields, inline validation, and error messages that identify the field and describe the issue.
- Responsive layouts that support browser zoom up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality.
- Compatibility testing with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers, where reasonably feasible.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of the website or application may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known or potential limitations include:
Certain PDF report outputs may not be fully tagged for screen reader access. We are evaluating accessible document formatting options for delivered reports.
Some dynamically generated content within the estimate and intake flow may have inconsistent focus management on certain browser and assistive technology combinations.
Third-party embedded components, including Stripe payment processing and Supabase authentication, are maintained by their respective vendors and may have independent accessibility characteristics outside Basis's direct control.
If you encounter an accessibility issue not listed here, please contact us. We treat all reported barriers as priority items.
Third-Party Services
The Basis application integrates two third-party services that customers interact with directly:
Stripe, which processes payments. Stripe's checkout interface is maintained by Stripe, Inc. and is subject to Stripe's own accessibility standards and practices.
Supabase, which powers authentication and account login. Supabase's authentication interface is maintained by Supabase, Inc. and is subject to its own accessibility practices.
Basis encourages accessibility from all vendors and has selected providers that maintain active accessibility programs. If you encounter an accessibility barrier within a third-party component accessed through our service, contact us at Support@basiscostseg.com. We will work with the vendor to evaluate the issue and assist where reasonably possible.
Accessibility Feedback And Accommodation Requests
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Basis website, estimate process, account features, report information, or other digital service, we want to hear from you. We will acknowledge your contact within five business days and work to provide the information, transaction, or service in an accessible format or through an alternative means as quickly as reasonably possible. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you and provide the information, transaction, or service in an accessible format.

Ongoing Review And Updates
Accessibility is reviewed as part of our development process when changes are made to the website or application. We welcome feedback from users with disabilities as a primary input into our improvement priorities.
